The only BnB in Charlottesville that's actually convenient to everything without being in the city of Charlottesville. The first place in Charlottesville we stayed at had train tracks outside our bedroom window. The second place was in the parking lot of the Marriott. The third place said they were in Charlottesville but they were reallt 30 minutes away. Finally with our 4th stay in Charlottesville, visiting our daughter at UVA we found a place that is perfect. It took us about 5 minutes to get to out daughters place at UVA but look at the picture of our view!

Returned again. Avoid the places in town with their noise and rudeness. We like this place because of its history, connections to Thomas Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt and Franklin Rossevelt!

Stayed for 10 days in the cottage. Was delightful, very peaceful, nice innkeepers and breakfast was top-notch.
