We've been staying at this hotel for years whenever we come to town, mostly for football games. We tried several others, but this one is the best overall, particularly after it was completely renovated a few years ago. On top of that, they renovated the rooms again this past year, and they are great. Very nice, very convenient, very friendly. Free wi-fi works perfectly. Hot coffee fresh and available all the time. The breakfast is pretty good. Not fantastic, but you won't find yourself absolutely needing to go elsewhere (though you shouldn't miss The Tavern for breakfast).
The only downside, and its a big one, is that they raised their prices considerably, at least for football weekends, a couple years ago. So we now stay there a lot less (we used to get two rooms for two nights each for every game, now we get one room for one night for 1 or 2 games). But its still the first place I check for availability if we'll be in town.
