To make a very long story short we stayed at the Marriott for one night. The cost was $103.40 and I paid with a debit card. Two days later I saw that instead of $103.40 being charged it was $310.20!!!! So, I immediatley called the manager who said he would PERSONALLY take care of the situation and reverse the charges. A day later I check my online statement only to find yet another charge of $206.80 on my account. Now we were up to $517.00 in UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES to my debit card. I again called the manager who had no idea they had charged my card again....he had no answers except he would reverse the charges.....Which takes about 3-4 business days. MEANWHILE my checking account is now overdrafted! So, two more days later I review my account and see that in fact they had refunded the $517.00 to my checking account. Then, I also see ANOTHER CHARGE for $206.80.NO I'M NOT KIDDING! So, I still sit here a week later and waiting for another reimbursement. I have had to freeze my account so no more checks would overdraft and I am waiting 7-10 days for a new Check Card! THIS IS VERY SCARY~NEVER AGAIN!
