My companion and I had selected the Behind-the-Scenes tour! It was well worth the few dollars extra it cost. The docents were most knowledgeable on all the tours. I thought that the slavery tour had a bit of a morality sermon included which we didn't find necessary. The scenery was grand with sweeping vistas and the fine vegetable gardens, vineyards, fig trees, and groves of planted trees from Thomas Jefferson's plans. Overall a fine experience! The house would not be considered handicapped accessible!
