When we arrived for dinner there were only 2 tables occupied. We seated ourselves in a booth. The waitress brought menus, we took a few minutes to look them over, then placed them by the edge of the table indicating we were ready to order. 15 minutes later, as the place began to fill up, the waitress whisked by and picked up our menus without taking our order! We couldn't get her attention and finally had to 'corner' her at the bar to place our order. (Meanwhile she had not only taken the orders of he others who came in AFTER us, but was also serving them!) Our order was simple enough: 2 bowls of soup and one chicken quesidilla. It took another 15-20 minutes to be served our lukewarm (albeit tasty) lobster bisque and an additional 20 or so minutes (AFTER we finished the soup) for our quesadilla to arrive. Our fellow diners were getting their appetizers, burgers and sandwiches while we had to wait for two bowls of soup and one quesadilla. At the very least we should have been offered something - a drink, an appetizer or complimentary dessert - as a consolation. Lastly, we didn't appreciate the gathering of smokers on the porch directly in front of the entrance while we were eating our meal. Everytime the door was open, smoke wafted into the dining room. Even with the door closed, the odor of smoke permeated the dining room. :-( Overall a very disappointing experience.
