We spent four nights at this hotel in July 2014, having booked a standard room with two beds. When we got there, we were told they had overbooked the standard rooms, and offered us a free upgrade to a one-bedroom suite. With two adults and two elementary-aged kids, that was a sweet offer.
The suite offered a full kitchen, a living room with a nice sleeper sofa (as nice as sleeper sofas can be), a bedroom with a king bed and bathroom area (note that the sink/mirror area is outside the bathroom door, so that can be an issue if someone needs to get ready in the morning while another is still trying to sleep).
The rooms were well stocked, had nice TVs and channel selections and were always very clean. A full breakfast was provided in the nice breakfast area adjacent to the lobby.
The outdoor pool, while small, was also nice, and it has a hot tub. There was ample parking around the building.
This hotel is very close to a Target, Red Robin and other stores and restaurants (within walking distance), and a short drive to the Chantilly Expo Center and other shopping/restaurant areas. The airport and Air and Space Museum are also very close.
We like to stay in this area and take the Metro (from the Vienna station) into Washington DC to tour around. It takes about 10 minutes to drive to the Metro station, but parking there is very reasonable and you don't have to worry about the traffic and parking going into the city.
Overall, a highly recommended hotel.
