My husband and I spent the day at the Air & Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. We were in the mood for Mexican and did a quick Google search. Picante came up with decent reviews and was only 1.5 miles away. Was a bit tricky to get to and we were somewhat skeptical given it's in a strip mall, but we were hungry. Turned out to be a great decision. The service was prompt and courteous, the menu extensive and the prices reasonable. Went out of my comfort zone and ordered a house specialty sirloin platter. The meat had been marinated in lime, cylantro and salt. The flavors blended well, none overpowered and was very tender. Appreciated the white corn tortillas as well. For Mexican food in the Mid-Atlanitic region, this was top notch.
