We recently re-visited Picante, a nice strip mall family restaurant. My family likes this restaurant, which has good Mexican dishes at reasonable prices. I do agree with the sourpuss reviewer that said this is not the same as you find in the SW U.S., but it's pretty good for Northern Virginia. I once again had the Chipotle Steak Tips, with a nice Modelo Negro. I believe it was about $13, but that's about all you can spend here. Our tab for four adults and two kids (10/6) was $83, drinks included. This time (Weds night 7pm), we were immediately seated and served. Portions are large. The noise level was pretty low, with the large seating area half-filled. We like this restaurant and will continue to visit!

The food was good, just not what I expected. It didn't have the sides that we usually get in other Mexican restaurants.

A nice experience every time we visit. Picante is consistently provided a great experience in our 7+ years of experience, we've tried other Mexican places in the area, but we always come back to Picante. We really enjoy the food. The portion size usually always has us taking some home and the price is reasonable. The one thing we always get is the Queso dip. We recommend this place to all of our friends!

Our family when to Picante last week. It's in a strip shopping plaza in Chantilly. It's a good place to go with the family - good food and reasonable prices. They have several good vegetarian dishes, but I had a chipotle steak tips that were very good. The only drawback was very slow service on a night that was not crowded.
