This was the best place for Chinese food in this end of Fairfax County (after Empress Gourmet closed around the corner). The buffet was fresh and generous, and you could opt for Mongolian BBQ, which was very good. Excellent prices/value.
New owners, and typical of Chinese restaurants in suburbia, these folks simply know nothing about running a restaurant in America. Signs of thrift now ooze from every corner. Get this: inside the door, by the cashier, is a bench to sit on, which is... wait for it... a car seat sitting low on the floor. Or maybe it's gone by now.
It's such a shame that one by one, the good Chinese restaurants fall victim to this fate. To be fair, I haven't been in many months, so maybe they've improved it. We used to frequent the place.
