On the plus side: There is an onsite laundrette, the rooms are a good size and, obviously, have kitchenettes. Also there is a small retail park right next to it that you can walk over to, which has Costco, Target, Chipotle, Subway, Starbucks and a few other places.
However there are several issues here. On arrival your kitchenette is empty. I mean, totally bare. No plates, knives, pots, pans, cutlery, anything. You have to go to reception and request these things - which is fine, I suppose, it is just odd and an unnecessary obstacle.
The staff member we mainly dealt with was rather unfriendly...she was on her cellphone seemingly on a personal call when we arrived and came across as rather reluctant to deal with our check-in at all. On the other occasions we dealt with her she also seemed like she really didn't want to be there...which is understandable (I work retail, I know how it feels and I don't have to be on all night), but at the same time it doesn't make for the best visitor experience. That said on the brief occasions I encountered other staff members they seemed very friendly.
The breakfast...oh the breakfast. Essentially your choices are oatmeal and oatmeal, so we got the oatmeal. To be clear, the breakfast offered is a small rack of stuff they put out in the lobby on a morning and you take what you want to your room. Having taken my oatmeal packet to my room it occurred to me that while I had managed to get cereal bowls and cutlery for the room, I hadn't yet got pans and there was no kettle so I had nothing to boil water in. So I used the microwave. And there is something about eating what my partner described as 'gruel' stirred into microwaved hot water that is decidedly unglamorous.
Room service is once a week, which is fine except you don't get enough towels so you will have to go request fresh ones. There is free wifi but it is generally really slow.
All this would be fine if it was cheaper, but for the price you are paying to stay here you are better off just staying in a normal hotel and eating out. I suppose if you are staying really long term this might be right for you, but I would suggest shopping around.
