“Small, but nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2012

This is one of the smaller plantations, and as such is more easily understood. The house is smaller and more low-key in its furnishings. Battle recreations are also held here.

“Satisfied with Sully”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2011

Great history lesson. I liked the detail and the high quality displays. The people visiting were noisy, but the staff was very nice and helpful. I want to see more but I did not have enough time.

“Takes you back"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2011

The plantation really takes you back to the era, and it is well maintained by people who seem to enjoy their work. The tour of the house is cool, and it is amazing to see up close the kitchen and other areas where people lived long ago. The grounds were peaceful and easy to navigate on your own. The gift shop is very charming, with plenty of items that are unusual..not just the typical gift shop.
