“Still the best aviation museum in the world”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013 via mobile

This was my second visit in a decade, and I can confirm it's still the best flight museum by far. The centre pieces of the Blackbird and Space Shuttle wow, but in every corner there is a bit of meaningful, and on occasion world changing flight history. If you like the Air and Space in Washington, then you'll LOVE the out of town version.

“Great Afternoon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013

I have lived in the DC area on and off for more than 25 years. This is the first time I have been to this museum. I am kicking myself for not going earlier. It was a great day. The kids liked the interactive games and IMAX movies. I really liked seeing the aircraft, especially the Blackbird, SST, and Discovery space shuttle. I don't understand, however: the museum is free but parking is $15? Really?

“Super! Don't miss this!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013

We went on a Sunday morning and what a blast! Parking is $15 per vehicle, but free
to get into the Museum. If you love planes, engines, anything having to do with
flight, this is the place for you. They have everything from early flights to
modern day and the explanations to go with it on detailed plaques in front of
every exhibit...I took over 250 photos and I was only there for two hours.
The bookstore has great books for sale...so don't miss that.
Easy access for wheelchairs and those that need assistance.
I just love this place! Take your family and friends and enjoy!
