“Excellent information and great to see so much history in one room”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

this museum is excellent. be it from the staff to the fact that they have one of the space shuttles.
i greatly enjoyed my time here and the guides are full of information even snipets that never made the history books.
Was excellent to see the shuttle and the time and care that went into each restoration.
excellent day out.

“Top Notch and Always improving”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

Does not matter if it is the military, civilian and space halls, this museum presents its important colection well.

If given the choice, go with this new museum over the older, smaller downtown Air & Space. Being essentially right on the runway, moving aircraft in and out of this museum is easier, contributing to its quality.

If you can take the time to visit its "tower" display and iMax theater, do so.

Parking is quite expensive. Fee can be avoiding by using certain shuttles and/or possibly visiting in the museum's last hour. That said, the collection is comprehensive enough to occupy half a day.

“Fascinating Overview of Aviation History”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

This museum in an annex to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. You can see the Enola Gay, the space shuttle, the gondola from the first hot air balloon to cross the Pacific, and every kind of flying machine imagined and invented by man. It was a wonderful experience.

You will not be disappointed CONCORD THE ENOLA GAY,A SPACE SHUTTLE AND SO MUCH MORE .A visit takes about 2 to. 3 hours get a guided tour if you can it teaches you a lot of neat stuff . Try a flight simulator it's awesome . You WILL want to go back loads of parking . You pay to park per car and that is your admission fee as well great value . “Well worth you time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

So much history in this bldg. It was almost breathtaking to see the Discovery. Such a magnificent piece of our history. The ENOLA GAY and Blackbird gave many visitors wonderful photo ops. Everyone seemed to be as taken back as I was to see such historical reminders of the past. So much to see and learn about. You can tour on your own or take a free guided tour. You will certainly be glad you took the time to visit!!
