“Once you've paid the $15 parking fee, it's free”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

Gigantic hangar full of famous and fabulous aircraft, including the Enola Gay, the Gossamer Albatross, and the Space Shuttle. Has a McDonald's inside, and a nice gift shop.

“Very inclusive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013 via mobile

Nice to see that although its US centric there are planes and other exhibits for show that are not from the USA. Very cool to see some of the behind the scenes control systems of various space and intelligence projects. Great place to geek out all day long!

“Great Day Out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

Last weekend we visited the center and it was fantastic. See the Space Shuttle 'Discovery', Concord, ride the simulator and just walk around all of the exibits from Bi planes and gliders to The spy plane 'Blackbird'. The only food available is a McDonalds and the gift store is not very interesting for little girls. $15 for parking and admission.

“Impressive Facility”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

Been here several times. Attended a couple IMAX feature and private presentations. I have attended private parties and I know a couple of the pilot's whose planes are on display. The place is fun and can accommodate everyone. The facilities are clean and the displays are very impressive. It's always amazing to see the aircraft individuals would fly in and how far we have come from a technological stand point.

“Calling this facility an "annex" is an insult.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

I think the "annex" is frankly a better facility than the main Air & Space Museum. Yes, there is a $15 parking fee, but the facility is free. I visited both facilities on the same day and I think if you had to pick only one facility to visit, this would be the one night to miss. The Air & Space Museum on the Mall looks dated and cramped compared to the massive hanger.
