“Excellent planes to view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

The Enola Gay, as well as a Concorde and a host of several WWII planes. The only thing I disliked is the fact that you could not go inside one or see a cockpit with the old instrumentation. It would be nice it one was sliced in half so to speak with glass so you could see inside one.

If you are very much in to flying and its history, then this is the place for you. A must see! It is so big you could easily spend a whole day here.

“Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

It's one of the best museums we've been, ever! Impressive planes, flying machines, rockets and specially the Columbia space shuttle will entertain everyone! We spent almost 3 hours there, and could have stayed longer, that's how much it's there to see. If you are staying in Washington, you'll have to drive there, the metro doesn't go there. Parking is $15.00 but the admission to the museum is free. Don't miss it!

This museum was a great place to learn about the all the airplanes that have been flown throughout time. My favorite was the black bird and the space shuttle. Very interesting!!

“Exciting and educational for all ages”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013

Though it is a a little far from the center of the town it was worth it. Able to see the actual historical aircraft and space craft. Very interactive for kids and adults. Must keep a whole day for in depth visit. Totally enjoyed it.
