“Don't go for buffet...go for good Sichuan food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2012

The buffet sucks...don't get it.

Ask to order off the real Chinese menu. They make the best ma la beef tendon! Their dan-dan noodles are pretty good. Oh, and the cumin lamb dish rocks!

“This place has gone waaaayyy downhill. Stay away!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2011

This restaurant, as the 2008 reviewer said, used to be an excellent buffet. They have gone way downhill in the past 3 years.. Everything is watered down-- soups, hot mustard, and sauces on the food. I got a crab rangoon from the buffet bar and t literally was painted with some red color inside, but was absolutely empty. Food is way off. They also now cater to bus traffic at dinner, not sure about lunch. We got soup and about five minutes later the first bus load arrived. They received no waitress service, but helped themselves to the buffet and also got their own drinks, returning with their dirty plates and cups to get more. (all other customers must wait for the waitresses to get their drinks and waitress removes dirty plates. When we went up for food, there wasn't an appetizer to be found, white rice was gone, etc, etc. down, we were told by management that they couldn't please everyone. About twenty miinutes after the first one, another bus load of folks showed up. Too much. Even before the first bus load showed up, the floor looked greasy and was slippery all over. Felt like we had to walk on eggshells. Between the bus traffic, the watered down food, and the dirty floor, this is not a good choice for a family dinner.

“Chinese food on Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy, NoVA”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2009

Expect to pay $12.00 for one dinner item. The sell food by "weight". I'm used to Panda Express where I can get a 2 combo meal. The $10 beef lo mein was a bit too oily & yes I cook my own food when I'm home. same for the oily chicken lo mein. $10.00 General Tso's chicken not bad, but had to pay more for rice and soup. Lunch specials are $7.00 but only carry out & delivery. I was at the ***** Wingate, which was across the street. free delivery for $20.00. The Kung Pao Chicken was indeed spicy, they could have used a 1/3 less chilli to cut down on the heat. Still could have used a bit less oil.
