great hotel all the way around clean, friendly, good food, nice rooms , great location, easy access to airport, free shuttle to airport, doggy treats, would highly recommend this hotel,provided very late check out after picking up family at airport, offered to keep my dogs while going to airport, nice indoor outdoor pool, doggie potty yard. ,

Very good service, just what you would expect. Breakfast fine with great help, but real eggs would be better. Ice was still on the ground and pavements which could have caused problems, but this was Virginia, and no-where else was any better. Over-all, just fine

To get in and out of Dulles, as well as the price you and your family can not beat the deal!! We used it as a sleep and park, room was spacious and clean. Hampton always seems to be the best for the money.

My husband and I have stayed at this Hampton Inn several times over the past year, and each time was a positive experience. Clean rooms and workout center. Friendly, helpful staff. Great location, close to Dulles Airport. And not that far away from downtown DC and all of the sites of the city.

I was at this location on business. Since my work took place at the hotel, I was in the facility all day and night for 5 straight days. The staff was friendly. I was especially impressed with how quickly the staff refreshed the room on a daily basis. The food was good. An overall good stay. If I am back in the area on business, I would not hesitate to stay at this location again.

We recently spent a night at the Hampton Inn in Fairfax County just off US 50 near the Dulles Auto Park. A very conveniently located inn for us since we have family living in the immediate area. An added bonus was the close proximity to the Dulles Auto Park.

This hotel was fine- we chose it because of the location and had a decent breakfast and very good service in some respects but there were a few things I would point out, and some information that may be useful to other people.

I was told to ring the hotel when we arrived at the airport and they would send a shuttle but there was already one there - it goes from stand 2H which I didn't see on the website so that's worth making a note of. Also, when we got to the shuttle the driver checked where we were staying as he said there were three Hampton Inns in the area so make sure you get the right shuttle.

When we arrived the receptionist was friendly; there is free wifi and also free cookies in the lobby and a small shop selling drinks. There is no restaurant but there was a folder of menus in our room and we were able to get pizza delivered straight to the room by Romano's. I asked when we arrived about the shuttle to the air and space museum near the airport, which is free, and the receptionist told me the shuttles did not go at set times and to just tell them in the morning when we were ready to go and they would take us.

The next morning the housekeeping service knocked on the door at 8.30am which surprised me as we were only staying one night and checking out that day, and checkout time wasn't until 10, so it was a bit annoying to have to tell them to come back later as we were in the middle of packing.

Breakfast was fairly bland but fine - bread and croissants, a few hot items like sausage and potatoes and a waffle iron which you pour ready made mixture into and cook your own waffles, which is really cool. You eat on paper plates with plastic cutlery which wasn't that nice but I guess it means they can keep the prices down as they don't need to employ staff to clear the tables or wash up, as you just throw your own plate away when you are done.

Before breakfast I checked again about the shuttle to the museum - as we wanted to get to the museum as soon as it opened at 10am as we had a busy itinerary that day - and the receptionist confirmed that we could have transportation any time we wanted. So after breakfast at 9.40 we went to ask for the shuttle and the receptionist called the driver over, who said he would not take us there until 10 and we had to wait 20 minutes. I queried that based on what I had been told before and the receptionist asked the driver if he would take us now and he said no he had a schedule - I was very surprised the receptionist did not know this and had repeatedly given us the wrong information. So we had no choice but to sit in the lobby for 20 minutes as we had already checked out of our rooms.

It took 15 minutes to get to the museum which wasn't too bad and we were dropped right outside. It normally costs $15 to park at the museum so we did save money.

We had been advised to call the hotel about 15 minutes before we wanted to leave the museum to return to the hotel (we had left our suitcases there) and did, and the minibus came about 20 minutes later to pick us up.

Back at the hotel, we asked about a taxi into the centre of Washington DC to the hotel we had booked there. The receptionist this time was very helpful and gave us a rough idea of the cost and printed off directions from Google Maps in case the driver didn't know the way (I am constantly surprised at how bad taxi drivers in America are with knowing locations even of big hotels and major landmarks). So I was really pleased with that level of service.

Our room was comfortable and large and I would not hesitate to stay here again, but it's worth checking about the free shuttle if you want to use it.
