“A good choice for the IAD area”

Booked the "Park, Stay, and Go" package through the hotel website. Price worked out to be cheaper than parking for a week at IAD. The shuttle leaves for the airport on the hour. Even though it is very close to IAD, you should note that the drive time in NOVA/DC traffic is still 30+ minutes in peak traffic periods.

The hotel itself is by far one of the nicer Hampton Inns I have stayed in. The room was very nicely decorated and spotless. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful as was the shuttle driver.

Would absolutely consider it again if I am flying out of IAD.

We stayed here before a flight out early from Dulles and the hotel was more than adequate for our needs. The hotel is in a sort of business park, but safe and quiet. We stayed here in July 2007 and the hotel was not modernised. I think it was due to be renovated completely as it still had the classic motel style outside corridor around the parking lot. However, the staff were friendly and cheerful despite our pre-dawn departure.

Hi,
I had to visit Washington and Shenandoah caverns and stayed at this place for two nights.
Overall experience was very positive,clean rooms,okay bathroom,great breakfast and very helping and courteous staff.
They let us stay 4 in the room and that was very good on the pocket.
Anytime i need to be there,i definitely will go back to the same hotel.

This is a new hotel located in Sterling (Dulles), VA.

It is located about 2 mins from the Best Western Dulles Airport & Holiday Inn Dulles Airport.

The hotel offers airport shuttle 24 hours a day.

The front desk staff was good and they have a nice service in the morning for breakfast and at night with a meal and beer & wine to add to your meal.

The rooms are comfortable (especially beds) and you don't hear any airplane noise at all.

Expect a ten-minute ride to or from Dulles Airport.

They also have a Park & Fly rate where you can park your car there for up to two weeks free of charge.

Internet Access was great and a good selection on the television for stations.

Description for this hotel indicates a 'motor inn' but this is an interior corridor hotel. Another great Hampton Inn experience. Room was clean and well appointed. The Hampton beds are especially comfortable. Bathroom was small with the sink located outside the bathroom just inside the entryway into the room. The room itself was a nice size with work area and a sofabed and coffee table. Everything was clean and in good repair. Pool area was smaller than other Hampton locations and the whirlpool was extremely small; only two people at a time can use the whirlpool and even that is a bit crowded. Breakfast was of average quality, not overly fond of the powdered/scrambled eggs but fruit and yogurt, in addition to the usual pastries were available. All staff encountered were friendly and professional. Check-in/out was efficient with no problems. Great location. In fact, I needed to rent a U-Haul trailer during this trip and the hotel is located next door to a U-Haul Center...how handy! Several shopping areas within just a couple of miles.

I didn't stay long at this hotel, only the night before I flew out, but the service was awesome during my short stay.

I was greeted promptly by a very courteous staff. The lobby is very cozy with a fireplace and a very large plasma televison. Across from the lobby is an area where breakfast is served, and 24 hr. coffee, juice and light snacks (such as yougart and fruit) are served.

The room was nicely appointed and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, not too hard nor soft, and had lots of pillows. A desk and a 'bedside' laptop desk was available, along with high speed internet access. The bathroom came equipped with all the necessary amenites to shower with, a hair dryer and plenty of towels. There was also a coffee pot with glass mugs and 'to go' cups. A plasma television in the room was a nice extra.

This hotel has a small to medium size indoor pool and jacuzzi. The water was clean and warm. Pool towels are available at the entrance to the pool area. A small gym is also available. It has 3 weight sets, 3 treadmills, 1 ski machine and 1 bicycle. There was 3 plasma tv's with different channels on at the gym.

Airport shuttle service begins at 4am and is a quick 10 min. ride to Dulles. Before leaving the hotel, the desk clerk provided us with a their phone number so when we returned from our trip we could call them for a ride. The shuttle driver did not keep us waiting when we got back:) There is no charge to leave your car parked for the first 7 days and is only an extra $10.00 per week after that. We were gone 10 days and were not charged the extra $10.00.

This a really nice hotel and plan on staying there every time I fly out of Dulles, which is at least every 6 months.

I recently stayed here for two nights. It's convenient to IAD. I called from the airport for a shuttle pickup and it took OVER ONE HOUR and 2 phone calls to finally get picked up. My flight had arrived late and my luggage was delayed so the following morning, I asked for the shuttle to take me to Target nearby so I could pick up a few items, something the front desk assured me I could do. It took a few calls to find a driver and a few more calls to get everything scheduled. I could've walked to Target and back in that time!

The room was a typical chain hotel room. Everything worked - coffeemaker, TV. There was no fridge in the room. Carpet was very worn and felt dirty so bring slippers and wear them at all times. Bathroom was small but clean with enough semi-fluffy towels.

Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. Lots of people with kids at this location so try to get down there early for best selection. I was able to use the microwave in the breakfast room later when I wanted to heat up some soup. There's also a small snack area where you could buy packaged and microwaveable items, chips, cookies and drinks.

I seemed to have more problems communicating at this hotel than any place else I've stayed. Front desk staff, housekeeping and shuttle driver didn't seem to speak or understand English well. They also didn't seem to know the area around their hotel well enough to even answer basic questions about restaurants in the area and simple directions. Since the hotel doesn't have an onsite restaurant which means you have to eat out, the staff should be prepared to recommend area restaurants to their guests. When I asked the front desk clerk about this, I got a blank stare and a shrug.

I won't be staying here again. While it's convenient to IAD, the hotel staff as a whole lack basic customer service training and that makes it inconvenient for anything else.
