“Lots of fun for kids and adults”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

This was our second year in a row to Cox Farms Fall Festival. The first year, our daughter was too young to enjoy it, but this year, she had a blast (she is 2 1/2). On one of the slides, she went up and down over and over again, all by herself. We even went together on two of the biggest slides. The hay ride is a lot of fun for all ages. The free apple cider is a big attraction. There are also some playground areas to decompress. My only suggestion would be to have more animals; she did get a kick out of milking the cow (however brief it was). I agree that it is a bit overpriced; but maybe when she gets older, we'll feel like we got more from the fee.

“Great Fall Festival”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2013

4th year visiting this place. We enjoy the slides, hay rides, and animals. We like the apple cider sample and free apples. Could di better wirh food offerings though. Great for families. My 7 year old daughter enjoys watching and dancing with the bands. We always look forward to the free pumpkins to take home before you leave.

“It had become an annual after-Halloween tradition!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2013 via mobile

After moving back to the Northern Virginia area, we have made it a family tradition to visit Cox Farms when they smash pumpkins and finish their fall season. If you sign up for their emails, you receive 4 half-price tickets which makes it quite a bargain! The kids love the slides, free apple cider, and watching the pumpkins smash from a platform every 30 minutes. I love having a BBQ sandwich and being with the family in a relaxed outdoor venue. The hayride is silly but the kids enjoy it, but don't wait in a long line for it! The live music is a nice touch, too.
