Description: As the name says, this unique Indian cuisine offers the best of Goan seafood as well as Northern Indian cuisine. Blending aromatic Indian spices with modern cooking techniques, Indian Ocean chefs chef Sharma and chef Amin produce flavors with local ingredient and that are fresh healthy and delicious. With the selection of traditional Indian dishes cooked in the ayurvedic (Healthy)style no butter, just the right blend of spices. Indian Ocean menu offers Goan seafood, non vegetarian, vegetarian and vegan dishes along with daily special. Tandoori smoked lamb chops, goan lobster masala, soft shell crab, Goan seafood curry, green chili chicken, abe-gosht garam masala are few dishes in our menu, serving gourmet lunch buffet and Sunday brunch along with a wide selection of wines, (great Indian wine) Indian beers and full bar. Our chefs offer wine dinner and cooking classes, our concept is local ingredient and fresh ground masala. Come and share a great experience.

“Great neighborhood Indian place”

Wide selection on the lunch buffet, attentive service and clean, pleasant atmosphere. The food is tasty, and subtly spiced. Doesn't appear to use MSG, always a plus.

“A Hidden Gem”

The Indian Ocean restaurant opened recently in the Giant Shopping Center on Stone Road. The owner ran a highly successful Indian restaurant in DC for over 10 years and now has opened this small but very good restaurant in Centreville. The menu offers a wide selection of items. We have eaten there 3 times and have been very pleased each time. The chef embraces an ayurvedic cooking philosophy that uses primarily fresh organic vegetables and avoids the use of dairy products and unhealthy oils. The difference can be tasted in the food. The staff is attentive and the atmosphere is very nice. They have a nice lunch buffet weekdays. I highly recommend the Indian Ocean.
