My husband & I received a gift from my son for a one night stay. We had never heard of the place but we were pleasantly surprised. It is tucked away in a beautiful country setting. The inn is about 11 years old, so it is a modern building. There is a spa next door which we did not use. The king room was large, had comfortable bedding, a large bathroom with two sinks, and a large walk in shower. There was also a small porch with a table and two chairs. I would like to have used the porch, but it was a little too chilly out during our visit. For warmer weather there is a nice pool and a whirlpool. The whirlpool was open. There is also a spa lounge with a door to the pool. There are lounges in there with towels and a gas fireplace. The room provided two very nice robes and waterproof sandals. There is a large HD TV with many station offerings. The towels were nice and fluffy. Breakfast is continental and served in the living room. The items included: scones, croissants, muffins, bagels, various jams, milk, three juices, granola, nuts, coffee, tea, and a nice fruit plate. The breakfast was very nice and we socialized with other guests. In nice weather, you could take your breakfast and eat on your porch. The staff was very nice and accommodating. An overnight staff person made my husband coffee at 3 am! The restaurant is next door and walking distance. It is call the Manor House and I have reviewed it separately. That building dates back to the Revolution. I highly recommend this wonderful place to get away from it all. On my next visit, I will try some of the spa offerings. There is also free wifi.
