We were delighted to discover that this site is open all year. It offers self-guided tours of Henry's last home, grave and grounds. The small museum holds a fascinating collection of memorabilia. The location also maintains a genealogical library that can be consulted by the Patriot's descendants, There are trails to walk along the Staunton River.
Be sure to watch the short film shown in the visitor's center that puts this man's life in context of his times before going on the tour. Docents are well informed and friendly.
