“Fun, fun, fun...and did I say fun?”

This place has it all. Buy local veggies and fruits, breads and cheese, they have festivals all the time, and it's a great CSA as well. If you have a little tyke there are so many things for them to do including putt putt golf, feed the ducks or other fam animals, catch and release fish, giant jumping pillow, and lots of playground equipment.

“Misunderstood what this was”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2012

We were thinking this was something of a local market for local food and when we walked through the store which has some cute items and a little local food, it was clear our expectations were out of line with what they do - I left with the impression it's more of play/learning experience for famlies with young kids. Still looking for a good, reasonably priced store that has a big variety of local foods on hand including locally produced meats.

“Great outside time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2012

Our family has done the CSA with Great Country Farms for the past few years and absolutely love it!! The produce is awesome... fresh and tasty! With the CSA membership, we get in free to farm festivals and random visits or u-pick or just outside fun. Without it, it's kinda pricey and we probably wouldn't be able to go. But thankfully we are able to eat all the goodness (finding new recipes to try with our kids, expanding their tastes) so we get to visit often! :)

We love the wagon ride to the u-pick fields, although sometimes waiting for it to leave can be hot in the summer. We also love that there are porta-potties in some areas on the farm, but also nice, clean restrooms close to the store and wagon ride pickup area. With potty-training kids, this is HUGELY helpful. :) On festival weekends, they open their "roosteraunt" for burgers and hotdogs, although we often bring a picnic lunch to eat in any of their picnic areas - many of which have shade! It's a great time and wonderful outside play with our family.

“Makes for a really fun day!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2012

We found a lot more to do here than we expected! This is not a polished, fancy attraction; it's a family farm, and it looks it. Everything was clearly thrown up by the owners. But, boy have they gone to town! They have built little puzzles and mazes, spread animal pens around, added some rope swings and tire piles, some tube slides and a corn box (sandbox, with corn instead of sand!). The bounce pillow is terrific. Our kids loved the cart track (although the carts were in pretty bad shape). We stayed for five hours and ran out of time before we ran out of things to do. If you want your ten-and-under kids to play outside all day and get tired and dirty, this is the place! We did not pick any produce, wrong season. We did do their Easter Egg hunt, which was great fun. A few things (mini-golf, tractor ride were a few dollars extra).
