“Awesome service at Rosemont!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My family just enjoyed a lovely tea this past weekend - Downton Abbey themed- and it was ABFAB!!! The entire staff was terrific, and very accommodating! We wanted special pictures taken and they were willing to let us come early and even took the pictures for us. It's an amazing venue and beautiful area!!!

Thank you so much for coming to our Downton Abbey Tea! We have many themed-teas throughout the year, as well as our regular Manor House Teas that focus on the rich 200+ year history of Rosemont. Add to that weddings, company retreats, B&B accommodations, and other special events, and there is always something fun going on at Rosemont! We so much appreciate your gracious review and we hope to see you at Rosemont again soon.

Warmly,

Just married 4 days ago at Rosemont and I would highly recommend this venue to any bride. The property, staff, vendors and planning was excellent. I wouldn't change anything about my three day event wedding.

From the mansion itself to the blades of grass on the lawn it could not have been better. The mansion is rich in history and has an enchanting location. The grounds are gorgeous and well kept. Weddings big or small can most certainly be accommodated at this venue. The head count was 159 and Rosemont made certain that all guests including children were happy and well taken care of.

The staff was very professional and knowledgable. The atmosphere provided was fun, entertaining and welcoming. I enjoyed the company of the staff just as well as my guests.

The vendors recommended did excellent. The flowers, music, caterers and photographers did a fantastic job providing services for my special day.

The planning was absolutely easy. Michael Haymaker was my wedding planner and I can honestly say that I was highly impressed. Michael listened to my thoughts and wants for my big day and made sure that everything I wanted was accounted for. The colors I picked were enhanced with his advice and experience. I would recommend Michael Haymaker to any bride seeking wedding planning.

My overall experience was phenomenal. I have all positive feedback about Rosemont and I'm happy to have held my wedding at this venue.

This location is great for corporate events, makes a great B&B, looks excellent for parties and weddings. For corporate events there is lots of room plus ~60 acres of property to accommodate your team and you will be backed by an excellent staff. The rooms are named after historical figures and the beds are very comfortable, no complaints. The chef and her team was also amazing.

Rosemont is a hidden historic gem in Northern Virginia that I recently had the distinct opportunity of enjoying for a company retreat. Beyond the historical importance of the location and the beauty of the grounds, the people truly made this a memorable experience. Bill and his staff were extremely courteous, kind, precise, and accommodating throughout our stay, making us feel like Senator Harry Flood Byrd, Sr.'s family. I was particularly impressed at the level of organization and consistent quality of the food services and deserts -- top class! We were able to meet the executive chef and she was such a lovely person, really putting the soul in the many wonderful dishes that we were served. I would wholeheartedly recommend this as a wedding destination, a week-long vacation, or even for an afternoon tea -- you won't be disappointed.

We held a multiday company event at the Rosemont. The setting is beautiful and the staff is fantastic. They really take the extra effort to get to know you and make you feel welcome.

The different houses on the manor complex are big enough that you can group enough people together per house that it's cozy, feels like a team environment, but still have plenty of personal space. There are multiple "event" sized rooms for you to hold meetings, workshops, or meals. We used it all!

For a girls gets away, my friend and I signed up for an afternoon tea and overnight accommodations at Rosemont on July 26th. The tea was very good; a nice selection of food items but not a huge quantity. As part of the tea there is a tour of the house and presentation of all its history, and it does have a rich history dating back to the civil war. The grounds are lovely as are the rooms. We had a nice surprise of an afternoon snack (part of the room deal) which included a glass of wine, cheese, crackers, veggies, and hummus. It is so quiet and peaceful there, a wonderful break from the normal chaos of D.C. living. I can see why this is a popular wedding venue. I'm looking forward to going back, if nothing else for a Christmas tea -- I can't wait to see how they decorate for the holidays!

Room Tip: The Bryd Study has wonderful views and a small balcony.

From start to finish, our experience at Rosemont Manor was wonderfully elegant. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Our room was ready when we arrived and we were overwhelmed by the gorgeous view from our balcony. The grounds around the manor were so beautiful and nicely manicured. We received a lovely hors d'oueve plate and glasses of wine at cocktail hour our first evening which was well appreciated. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed 2 delicious breakfasts in their very attractive, bright dining room. The time passed much too quickly to take advantage of all the charm and amenities they had to offer so we hope to return again to continue our wonderful experience.

Room Tip: If you want a wonderful view AND a balcony, the Byrd Study is the one for you!

Thank you so much for your kind words and thank you for being our guest at Rosemont! We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay! We hope you'll try out some different rooms on future visits as well -- perhaps the Eisenhower with its historic clawfoot tub, or the Nixon with its screened porch. In any case, you are welcome anytime and we look forward to seeing you again!
