Visited for two nights over the Veteran's Day weekend and had a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable - great bed! – the homemade breakfast was divine (bacon and onion frittata on spinach, homemade donut muffins, pumpkin french toast - all yum!), and the relatively new innkeepers Patrick & Dan (and dogs) were warm and welcoming but not intrusive. And the afternoon sugar cookies were crave-worthy. The town is still a little sleepy and in recovery from the flood of two years ago. We could walk easily to a local spot for a great dinner, drive easily to nearby hikes and other towns. It was a totally relaxing stay. Can't wait to see what Patrick does with the restaurant as he settles in! We'll definitely be back.

The Wilmington Inn & Tavern is awesome. We were upgraded from a premium to a suite (Joseph Courtmanche Suite), which was the most comfortable hotel space I've ever stayed. The king sized bed is really soft. The breakfast is also really good and Patrick is a friendly guy who knows how to run the place.

I highly recommend the Wilmington Inn if you're going to Mount Snow, visiting people at Marlboro College, hell even if you're going to Brattleboro. Its worth the trip.

The Inn was very nice and relaxing. Staff was very attentive to our needs and with giving suggestions for dinner. Plenty of common area space and wonderful seating around fireplace. Room was nice, clean and well kept. Located close to town within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Breakfast which is included in price of room is wonderful, good all home made food and cookies. We will deff go back for another visit.

Room Tip: take advantage of the on line deal for 20.00 upgrade when you arrive.

The innkeeper was pleasant to deal with; both friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and well furnished. We anticipated older-looking decor (from the pictures), but the room was tastefully updated. The breakfasts were very good. They have lots of beautiful common spaces with fireplaces and couches. Visitors were commonly using the space for playing games or general conversation. The feeling was personal, but not crowded or stuffy. I would definitely recommend the place to a friend.

My husband and I stayed at the Wilmington Inn for 3 nights during the spectacular fall foliage. We were greeted by Patrick and offered fresh homemade chocolate walnut brownies. Nice ending to our long drive. If you book online, take advantage of the 20 dollar upgrade. we did and ended up with a room that had a jacuzzi, fireplace, and separate living area. Breakfast was great every morning. Patrick is a wonderful host and so hospitable. He remembers special requests the following day. I would definitely recommend staying at the inn. It is a great location right at the edge of town so easy walking to restaurants and shops. It will be really nice when the restaurant at the inn is open and you never have to leave the property.

I took my mother here for a birthday/retirement weekend getaway. I had never stayed at an Inn and was unsure what to expect. I got the only room that was available at the time, it was small but very clean and had that Vermont charm. The new innkeepers, Patrick and Dan, were so hospitable and friendly. They made us feel like we were staying with family. Patrick's daily homemade complimentary breakfasts were delicious! They always had a smile and were ready for conversation at any time. One evening we came back from dinner, to the smell of a nice fire burning in the living room fire place. We were greeted with a fresh tray of Patricks homemade chocolate walnut brownies that were to die for. It was the little extras like that, which made it feel more like a home. Thanks to them I would definitely do an Inn again, and especially repeat this Inn! It's location is great too, easy walk to the shops and restaurants in town. The Anchor is good for seafood, and Jezebels was great for sandwiches, burgers, fries, drinks etc...just had to wait a bit for the check. Overall, a great stay!

Room Tip: If possible get a room with two beds for more space. Also there is the main inn where rooms are, and...

We stayed here for 2 nights and to be honest from the description I was expecting a bit more life in the place. Nothing happening in the evening even though there appears to be a bar, so expect to walk down into the town for food/drinks. We were served a nice cooked breakfast on both mornings. Our room was a bit pokey but very clean and the bed was comfy. I think the whole town has suffered from the severe floods of 2011 and deserves a comeback because it's a lovely area.
