“Comfortable Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

We spent a night here after finding it hard to find a suitable hotel in Burlington that would take a single night reservation on a Friday. Taft Corners is a short drive from Burlington and is easy to find. Throughout our stay the staff were friendly and helpful, and gave useful information on where to eat. The room was large, clean and quiet with the standard issue 'huge' bed. Would certainly use this hotel again, and it's certainly a good alternative to downtown Burlington should more central accommodation be hard to find.

I arrived at this hotel later in the evening and was struggling with my luggage. A person from the front desk came out and helped me. I noticed she was in a supervisory role and said to myself, "this is a good role model" for the staff. Regardless, her gesture was nice. However, the next morning (very early) I was leaving around 4 a.m. and had the same challenge with my luggage and the housekeeper came over and helped me. The culture of customer assistance was amazing at this place!

Because I arrived later and left early, I can't tell you much more about the hotel, other than it's in a wooded area that lends it to being quiet. Room was fine. Very convenient to Burlington airport.

Great service. Friendly helpful staff. Everything you need from this standard of hotel. Bar on site so need to leave for cocktails! Not too far from Burlington so plenty of choice of restaurants. Free shuttle to and from the airport which is great.

This was a quick get-a-way for my wife and I and the Courtyard was everything we were looking for. I have to say we got a good price through an internet hotel discounter. I would have paid $125 easily, and I'm cheap. One exit south of Burlington, so it's a quick jump on 89 to and from downtown B. The room was very comfortable and well appointed, fresh and clean. Nice TV and easy WIFI. Would have liked it if breakfast was included, but we wanted to go to Henry's Diner downtown anyway.

Sometimes, we expect more from big chain hotel. In this case, maybe I was expecting more. But we got just an ordinary room. Some rooms were even having a balcony. For the price we pay, (about $200.00), we even didn't get the breakfast included! Swimming pool is small such as the whirpool. Hotel is about 1 mile, from all the stores and good restaurants. That's mainly the only good quality of this hotel.

It was clean pleasant and quiet. Slept very well. Had most amenities. Could have used a microwave oven since breakfast was not included in the price. Felt the price we paid was a little too high for its location. In addition they tacked on a 20 dollar fee for incidentals when I checked credit card account. Was told they had taken out the charge. Cannot verify this until I check cc account next.
On the positive side it upheld the Marriott brand and image. Pleasant and cheerful front desk.

Booked by Priceline, my bidding price was more reasonable. When I logged in the official web site to check out their regular rate, it was very expensive for me. The room was nice, clean and spacious. It seem the property had a recent remodelling. Everything seem very new. I was surprise the hotel did not have any complimentary breakfast. I usually stayed in Courtyard by Marriott, Niagara Fall, Canada. It had the promotion package, the complimentary breakfast was always included.
