We have stayed here for extended periods while working nearby. We choose The Inn because of it's dog friendly position, and found it a beautiful property in a great location. With it's wooded grounds and Chalet style set up you would never know it was one turn away from the Interstate and walking distance to some great shopping and dining. We clocked the time to the nearest Ski Resort access road as around 15 minutes, and to get to downtown Burlington and the lovely lakefront less than 10 minutes! The room's decor are something of a throwback to the late 80's and 90's but there are flatscreen TV's with satellite programming in each area (we stay in the two bedroom, two bathroom unit, which also includes a full kitchen and dining area). The rooms are clean and full of the standard Marriott amenities, and when we need something the Staff provides whatever we requested. The Front Desk Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, a very welcoming bunch and the seemingly always present Management Team is approachable and engaged in the daily operations. We have found the daily breakfast is more than your standard Marriott offerings, with hot eggs, waffles, staff made yogurt/granola "sundaes", sausages and when we were there on a weekend recently Eggs Benedict was even on the buffet. The Manager's receptions 3 nights a week are generally a full meal, including salads and they have a good variety from Mexican to Italian to BBQ nights on their outdoor grill. Over a recent Holiday vacation when we were there they had a Movie Night with Popcorn, cheese nachos, warm pretzels, and showed a Disney movie on the 50" flatscreen TV in the main lobby, which reminds us of a Ski Lodge "great room". There is an indoor pool and Hot tub on site which seem to get a lot of activity but we haven't used either yet, although on a snowy day I bet it is nice to relax in there looking out of the wall to ceiling windows. To sum this up: Great Location, really pretty property, clean with lots of amenities, great staff, good food, and most importantly our Dog likes it!
