Went to VT to visit friends, see leaves, work out. Fantastic place.
Ate at Harriman's in the hotel. Swam outdoors in 30 degree weather, walked the Valley Trail several times---all fantastic.
Friendly staff, great room/accomodations...far from other towns but once one gets to Wilmington, Manchester, Brattleboro-very worth the trip. All great places to visit. Highly recommend this place anytime of the year. A must stay kind of place

the hotel did not disappoint. the room was clean and the employees were pleasant. the outdoor pool was heated as stated and the hot tubs also met expectations. One drawback was the ice machine was not on our floor and it was quite a walk to it plus up one flight. If you like golf, Haystack is nearby and in great condition and a good deal for seniors during the week.

  • Liked — clean pleasant employees close to golf

A great location, right on the mountain. This is what you are paying for. Room OK, basic, a little worn and a little dated. The convenience and the location are what you are paying for.

Unless you get lucky enough to find a parking space , plan on using valet parking, unless you are able to walk uphill in snow/mud with your luggage and skis.

Suite had kitchenette that was adequately supplied with kitchen equipment (just the basic necessities). Small "full-size" refrigerator.

Food in cafe, mini-store and restaurant reasonable/adequate.

Well stocked ski store in hotel.

  • Liked — Location for skiing
  • Disliked — Paying for location, not the quality of the room which is just OK

I stayed at the Grand Summit Resort Hotel at Mt. Snow this past weekend, and I had a very positive experience. I was at the hotel for a women's retreat, and I couldn't be happier with the accomodations. All the meals they prepared for us were fabulous! Our room had two balconies, two queen beds, a flat screen t.v. (though we didn't watch any t.v.), a large bathroom with two sinks, a closet, and an armchair. It was very cute and clean. The pool and hot tubs were very enjoyable, and they were saline, not chlorine, which was nice. I love those ski resort outdoor, heated pools!

The only problem we had was the noise from the plow at night, and the noise from the ski lifts in the morning. They were right outside our window, and they did wake us up. However, if you stayed in a different part of the hotel, it wasn't a problem. We didn't want to give up our two balconies though! (Anyways, I can't believe people were still skiing at the end of April with more dirt than snow!)

I really want to come back and bring others to ski next winter!

  • Liked — The view and the food.
  • Disliked — Outside noise.

We stayed here with our sons for a spring ski weekend. A bit expensive, but you can't beat the location. We could walk out the back door to the lifts. I also treated myself to a hot rock massage...simply dreamy! The room was small but well appointed, and the staff was very nice.

  • Liked — It's proximity to the mountain.
  • Disliked — A bit pricey.
