This very upscale, lovely, well-situated Relais & Châteaux inn has a marvelous, well-appointed restaurant on the first floor. (In the basement is a more casual dining room, though we did not dine there). The service in this 11 year old renovated inn is impeccable. The staff is so attentive, polite, and knowledgeable. The interior design is most interesting: the architectural details in the dining room are artistic and great; so much care has obviously gone into redoing this interior. Even the floors are special! The view outside while dining is terrific, too: a lovely garden and porch. Of course, we adored our meals, though expensive, worth every dollar. If you are a sophisticated diner, you will be very happy visiting here; it is indeed superior to the very good cuisine of The Common Man Restaurant. This is elegant dining at its best, in a charming, bucolic country setting. Gorgeous!!! We can't wait to return!!
