“Exceptional Inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2004

The Beaver Pond Farm Inn was just what the doctor ordered for my girlfriend and I. We arrived late, Bob showed us around - I was hoping a cup of tea wasn't going to be too much to ask but before I could Bob showed us to the "honor bar" with wine, beer, tea, coffe and snacks. We made some tea and retired to the living room where a crackling fireplace welcomed us - just perfect on a chilly fall night.

A huge bonus for us was the Inn had WI-FI (wireless internet access). I know we try to get away from business and e.mail when we are on vacation but in our case it was a life saver. A proposal came up we had to work on and get out that night - so it was a life saver.

The room we stayed in was cozy and the bed was heavenly. Rich cotten linens and exquisite pillows - I've stayed in 4 star hotels that didn't have beds as nice. We had the best nights sleep out of four other Inns on our trip because of that bed. Cable TV in the room was a nice unexpected touch too.

The Inn was decored quite tastefully and felt very authentic. Not like some of the other Inns we stayed at that lacked a personal touch that Beaver Pond managed to capture.

Nancy cooked a great breakfast but before we left we needed to try the hot tub overlooking the valley. It was perfect. Cool air, hot tub, incredible view - what more could you ask for.

All I can say is we wish we had book the Beaver Pond Farm Inn for more then one night. Can't recommend it enough.

Thanks again,
Liz and Mace

My husband, 2 children, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Laurel room. The room was very attractive, spacious, and well-appointed. No details were overlooked. During warm weather, the huge back deck is a wonderful place to sit and relax with a glass of wine and a good book!
Bob and Nancy are wonderful hosts, and Nancy is an excellent cook!

Nancy & Bob are fantastic hosts and Nancy's breakfasts are nothing short of excellent!! The 4:30pm post-ski snacks are soooo welcome after a day of skiing and Bob's mastery with the fireplace makes the living area even more comfortable (if that's possible). We left the hot tub for our next visit but it looked very inviting...and the natural beauty that surrounds the inn, and the comfortable and well-appointed rooms (including heated mattresses) -- cannot say anything better. And for the price you cannot beat it. You have as much privacy as you want. And the area is chock full of excellent restaurants with warm atmosphere!
Thanks again Nancy & Bob!

We loved Beaver Pond Farm a lot! The room was the coziest with a beautiful mountain view! Breakfasts are incredible - I have never had such great food in my life! Service is excellent and Inn keepers are the nicest people. It is very close to the slopes, hot tub looks at the mountains. The whole experience being there was a paradise vacation!
