My husband and I spent a lovely weekend in this well-appointed and elegant property. It was spring, and too soon for boating and swimming activities, but we enjoyed relaxing on the dock and beautiful porch. The mattress was great--one of the best nights sleep we've ever had in a B&B--and the sheets were unexpectedly high quality. The food was lovely. Jennifer prepared us dinner at a nominal extra cost, giving us lots of choices from locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. Both she and her husband are gracious, and are very interesting to talk to. We appreciated the fact that they also knew when to give us our privacy -- that balance is hard to get right, and is very important in the B&B experience.
We stayed in the Green Mountain suite, which has a beautiful lake view and was the perfect size. The Lakeshore is actually considerably larger than the picture shows, and can accommodate a family comfortably. The two rooms with shared baths are cheery.
When you stay at a B&B, you're staying in someone's home, and if you don't like seeing the occasional cobweb or dishes in the sink, then you need to stay in a hotel.
