The Stone Hill Inn is an absolutely perfect romantic getaway spot. The innkeepers, Hap and Amy, have thought of every last detail to make your stay relaxing, pleasant and memorable. The room was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The jacuzzi tub and fireplace added a very unique touch and made for a great reason to enjoy the room! Hap is an amazing cook. His Savory Artichoke Cheesecake was to die for! Overall, just a fabulous experience!

My husband surprised me with a three night stay at the Stone Hill when our daughter was 6 months old. We both needed to getaway and we definitely needed to reconnect as a married couple; not just parents. The Stone Hill Inn was the perfect place. We were not looking to be around crowds of people skiing, so we watched movies, took baths in the huge tubs, sat by the fireplace, and toured the village. The Stone Hill Inn was peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing. Amy and Hap were terrific, and Hap's breakfasts were amazing! We can't wait to go back.

We just returned from a magical visit with Amy & Hap at The Stone Hill Inn. This Inn surpasses any that we have stayed at in the past. Hap & Amy's attention to every detail is amazing. We arrived early to find Amy with a smile and a wonderful welcome. We had just stopped in to let her know we arrived and what recommendations she had for lunch. She pleasantly gave us recommendations and off we went. When we returned to check in our room was absolutely wonderful and enchanting with a view of their expansive property from a window in the front and a sliding glass door in the back.

The drive up to the Inn is stunning as you pass snowy, expansive grounds that entice you to play on the tobaggan and borrow the snow shoes to run about the property.

The breakfast is always by candlelight and every table has a view of the beautiful surroundings. Hap always made us "happy" with his wonderful breakfasts.

Amy answered our numerous questions about where to eat, where to rent ski's, where to snowmobile with patience and great advice.

As we returned at night it was with a sense of peace as you opened the door to find your room turned down for the evening and an incredibly comfortable bed and pillow to lay your head down for the night. A flick of the switch and a cozy fire was yours to enjoy.

We are making plans to go back as soon as we can.

Just a note about ammenities - the bathrooms are huge with plenty of storage and counter space. A nice surprise for a bed and breakfast.

Thank you Amy and Hap for a memorable stay!

Following the hectic blur of wedding planning and "The Big Day", the Stone Hill Inn greeted my new wife and I on a blustering and cold December night. The drive up to the hotel was enchanting. For the next four days my wife and I were treated like the royal family by Amy, Hap, and the rest of the staff at this very exceptional Bed and Breakfast. My wife and I were so happy to pass all of the other inns and hotels in Stowe on our way to bed each night. Amy helped us book all of our excursions complete with personally printed directions. The food was incredible each morning. The rooms are clean, well-furnished comfortable, warm, and charming. The flat screen tvs and dvds are great for a night in the inn, but when you want to taste some of Vermont's greatest foods Amy and Hap have already scouted them all out for you and help you find the best of the best. The one night we strayed off of their recommendation list was the only night we did not have a good meal. Expect privacy, delicious food, cozy beds, and romantic nights.

My husband and I are repeat customers (every Christmas) at the Stone Hill Inn and have been since our honeymoon in October 2002 when we first stayed at this amazing place. Amy and Hap Jordan, the innkeepers, have thought of every single detail that one could want for a romantic getaway. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The fireplace and jacuzzi tub in every room make even the coldest Vermont December night warm and cozy. Amy and Hap's breakfast and evening tapas fare are absolutely delicious (though not dietetic ... plan on gaining a few pounds depending on how long you stay). And special dietary needs/preferences (like my husband's vegetarianism) are always accomodated with no trouble whatsoever. Customer service when it comes to making dinner reservations, scheduling activities, or warming your ski boots before you head to the mountain is unsurpassed. And to top it all off, Amy and Hap are two of the nicest people you could ever ask to spend a few days with! Thank you Stone Hill. We will see you next year!
