“Always a nice place to stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2013 via mobile

My return to VT for Labor Day weekend was amazing. Stay at the Arbor Inn and have not one complaint. Room was perfect and Vera did an amazing job with the cleanliness, made the beds every morning and provided fresh towels if I needed. Breakfast with Cody, Michael and Vera was nice. Don't know what the secret recipe is for their bacon but YUM! Cody and Michael always suggest the best things to do. A great team and a great place to stay. Will certainly be back!

Trip Advisor provided wise counsel, and The Arbor Inn was a great choice. Rooms were comfortable and clean, the breakfasts tasty, and our hosts most kind. A wide variety of restaurants are just a few minutes drive from the Inn, and hosts offered great suggestions.

Michael and Cody made our long-weekend stay in Vermont a very memorable one - starting with their very friendly and personalized service, and the awesome breakfast every morning. Their fresh fruit plate and the ham and cheese omelette with the special maple bacon is really good - portions were big enough to last you until lunch time even if your morning consists of hiking and biking. Their funny stories and ready smiles immediately made us feel at home and soon we felt like that these guys have been our friends for the longest.
We ended up extending our stay for one day longer!

We stayed two nights in August and enjoyed the Inn as well as Michael and Cory. Breakfasts were delicious, and it was fun spending time with the owners. Good advice about things to do in the area and restaurants, also!

Room Tip: Some rooms have a little patio with table and chairs AND a beautiful mountain view!

Michael and Cody own this adorable inn. Do not pass up an opportunity to stay here. First of all, when you smell wild flowers in the towels and sheets each and every day, and it isn't because your soap or shampoo rubbed off, you have to thank your lucky stars. Secondly, if you are as much a fan of the glories of Belgian Waffles and bacon with maple as I am, then you are in for a delicious treat each day of your stay. Plus, an extremely fresh plate of mixed fruits was served each morning. And I am telling you folks, I love fruit, but dislike fruit salad. This was NOT fruit salad. This was Whole-Foods style quality fruit, perfectly ripened and delicious!
My husband and I stayed here this past weekend, and married in Stowe on Saturday, 8/31. As much as I'd like to tell you that our wedding weekend emotions would outshine any sort of stay, the stay at the Arbor Inn was an awesome whipped-cream topping to our already sweetened weekend.
I know, I sound a bit over-the-top. But Michael and Cody are fantastic people, and their Inn is just as fantastic and deserves a five-circle rating. They were so kind to us from the start of our stay through to the end, giving us a room upgrade without extra cost (for the newlyweds!!) and offering us anything they could to make our stay comfortable.
Although I appear laid-back on the outside, I can be very particular....and I am telling you now, stay here, you will not regret it!!

Love you guys! (Michael and Cody)
Andrea

I have never traveled to Vermont before and the great reviews for this place lead me to book my week- long stay here. The reviews were right on target and I felt right at home and comfortable. Mike, Cody and Vera were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was exquisite! The rooms are accessible from the outside which worried me a bit since I was traveling alone, but I ended up feeling quite comfortable. Definitely up to its great reputation!
