“We renamed it the Brewery at (Tourist) Trapp Family Lodge”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

Cafeteria style... Overpriced -- $18 for a so-called "cheese and meat platter" served in a bowl... Plastic utensils... Very disappointing! This place has a lot of potential (i.e. the location is not bad) and could be so much better!

“The hills are alive, but the song is not always in tune.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013 via mobile

Amazing how one person can change/ interrupt a pleasant experience. My husband and I spent four nights at the main lodge for his birthday weekend. We had a nice experience with all the people who worked their. Friendly, helpful..just pleasant people.
With the exception of the guy who seemed to be managing the deli/bakery/brewery.
Too bad, dude is an [--]. Not the least bit concerned about hospitality, helping out employees and service. In the days there we saw him chatting in the parking lot with someone, during wknd lunch. With only one person at the bar. Taking bar and deli orders. Busy wknd! Hello?!! Another time, trying to buy beer to bring home. Only to be received with a bad attitude as to, what's out is all we have...try such in such instead of what you're looking for.
Anyway..again too bad one person can be a negative reflection on a family business.
I say because my husband is a business owner and would not be happy with this type of bad attitude.
Other than him. We did have a nice time.
Probably will not go back.

“Cozy, friendly, and authentic with real gluten free options.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

We went here for a late dinner before closing. The fire was roaring and a few friendly faces speckled the bar area. We were greeted with a smiling staff despite the time. Our server was very helpful when I told him that I was gluten free. He even offered to go off menu if necessary. I went with an open faced sage roasted chicken sandwich on their fresh baked gluten free bread followed with an amazing house made GF cookie. Towards the end of our meal my husband and I felt like locals and we can't wait to go back on our next vacation.

“Great but don't bring your kids”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013 via mobile

It had a wonderful atmosphere and the service was incredible and extremely accommodating. They took off 2 kids meals an a dessert because it was slitely cold and they just also took off the dessert to make a good impression. The food however was not very good it didn't taste very good but some of the people I was with liked their entree but 4 out of the 6 didn't like theirs. All in all it was a nice resturaunt but do not bring your kids because it is really just geared for adults.

“Great beer, good food.”

Very nice low key brewery. The beer is fantastic. The food is good, but selection limited. The vegetarian chili was yummy. Enjoy!
