“better than expected!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

This place was very cute and we had a great stay. View was beautiful, but it was all the "extras" that made the experience here. We didn't spend much time in our room because there was a beautiful common area with a fireplace, complementary teas and tons of board games, and a game room with a big TV and movies. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was really delicious! Great home away from home feel!

“Pretty good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

This Inn was quite comfortable. If i looked around for issues, i could find them. for example, there weren't enough towels in the bathroom to accommodate the 4 people in the room and the wifi in our room was spotty given its distance from the hub. the DVD player in the room made the DVD we were watching skip a little but nothing serious. In all, it was not a perfect place, but the location and relative comfort make this a place we would return to.

Room Tip: ask about how good the internet connection would be in your room is this is important to you.

Thanks for your review. We are glad to hear you would stay with us again, despite a couple of issues. You were staying in our Sugar Maple Suite. I wish you would have brought the towel issue to our attention while you were here. We would have pointed out that we stock extra towels in your bathroom cabinet. The DVD player you were using are only a couple of months old, so I suspect you got a hold of a bad DVD disc. The Sugar Maple Suite is the farthest distance from the WIFI hub. Since your review, I have rebooted the router and checked the signal and it seems to be working fine now. Too all our future guests, if you find anything not working as promised please bring it to our attention so we may address it ASAP.

“First time exceeded expectations!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2012

My husband and I stayed at Timberholm in October. This was our first time staying at a b&b. They have set high standards for our future travels. Comfort, friendliness, great food, spectacular view of the mountains from our room. Sophie the dog, she was the perfect addition to a great place to stay. We hope to go back for a longer stay! Hats off to Tom and Susan. Sophie too!

We are so pleased you found your 1st stay at a bed and breakfast to be such a enjoyable one. We hope it leads to many more visits to B&B's in the future and a return trip to the Timberholm.

Thanks for coming!

“down time in Stowe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

This was our third time back , at the inn.
my partner and i feel comfortable for many reasons, which include Vermont's best breakfast and afternoon cookies, watching Sophie the official greater/ golden , bound around to our delight.
The best reason is the feeling of respect, genuine care, and the ability to be who we are.

“A beautiful oasis!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012

Great views of the mountains, lovely rooms and common area, absolutely delicious breakfasts, super friendly and helpful hosts (Tom and Susan), a wonderful dog (Sophie), fantastically reasonable rates -- you couldn't ask for anything more in a B&B! Our two friends and my husband and I enjoyed 4 exceptional days in one of the suites (2 bedrooms and sitting area) at Timberholm Inn this October, and we had the best time imaginable. The leaves were spectacular -- we had great walks, car tours, and tasty dinners in several Stowe restaurants. We highly recommend the Inn!
