My friend and I were looking for a restaurant for dinner while in Stowe and had had a horrible experience at another restaurant the night before. So we went into Crop Bistro and were looking at the menu when we heard delightful guitar music coming from the bar. We asked if we could eat dinner there and were immediately escorted to a lovely table where we could see the playoff baseball game (sound off) and listen to the music. I wish I knew the man's name but he was amazingly talented. He sang music which my friend and I enjoy....James Taylor, Simon and Garfunkel etc., and the whole time we were there (which was over 2 hours) NEVER took a break. The crowd obviously enjoyed him too as after each song was rousing applause. We both ordered burgers and fries along with a sampler of their brewed on location beers. Lots of fun to try them all. The burgers were stellar, so juicy and tender. We both agreed that the seasoning was exceptional and different. The fries were cooked perfectly. Our server was so nice and when we decided to stay after eating to listen to the music, she was very accommodating and while she checked with us to see if we wanted anything else from time to time, was NOT a bother in anyway. We would definitely return.
