A really outstanding hotel, the rooms are very spacious and luxurious, it has a heated indoor and outdoor pool plus a large pool to the rear of the complex, the spa treatments are out of this world, the staff are on hand to attend to your every need, bicycle hire is on hand near the main hotel, valet service to the car park, the hotel staff lay on a very good shuttle service to Stowe which has a variety of shops.

It was our first time to the Topnotch Resort and Spa and certainly not the last.
Incredible location. Impeccable services. Staff welcoming. Room with stunning mountain views.
We loved the indoor spa with waterfall as well as the outdoor pool and the warm evening fueled by fire. Tranquility and pleasure guaranteed for a romantic getaway much appreciated.
Many activities for everyone.

Room Tip: King Deluxe with Mountain view was amazing.

Fabulous vacation. Went to Topnotch to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The trip was almost more special than our wedding. The staff were pleasant, welcoming, and always willing to go above and beyound. Really loved the fire pits every night. So many things to do so close...boredom just can't be a possibility. We took advantage of renting bikes right across the street to ride on the rec path and took a carriage ride also right across the street. Had services at the spa and even arranged for a private guided hike with a guide who was so knowledgeable and helpful. The pool was a great way to start the day and the whirlpool ended the day just right. The concierge always went above and beyond. Well worth it!!!

From the moment my husband booked our trip over the phone the amazing experience began. He had just simply mentioned that we would be celebrating our 10th anniversary on this trip in the fall even though we were married in May. Would you believe every staff member knew this little detail. Yes I know its just a simple notation in the computer, but it really made us feel special along with the chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us in our beautiful room. The room was super comfortable, the bed... the pillows...amazing. There was also a large comfy chair to snuggle on. It has a modern rustic feel which to us felt like comfy luxury. Very open and warm. The food at Flannel was delicious. The spa was very relaxing. The staff was the best. Everyone smiled and clearly liked their jobs. When was the last time you saw that?! Loved this place!! We can't wait to go back.

Love this place. Great architectural vibe. Terrific rooms. Wonderful food. Super spa. Stayed here and at Stowe mountain lodge one night each for a comparison. This place wins hands down. The only gripe I would have here is if you happened to get a room that is facing the road (which literally can run right outside your room) it could be irritating when you go to take your afternoon siesta. Otherwise, no big deal.

This place has recently been lovingly (and expensively) renovated. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Common areas, hallways are lovely. The pool areas shine. Outside a larger pool, a beautiful smaller adult pool, and a hot tub to sit under the stars. Nice slate pool deck, lots of chairs, good service. Inside another pool, hot tub with waterfall, steam room, sauna, heated slate deck. Many of my friends had spa treatments and felt they were excellent. We went there as part of a bicycle trip. Spa was gracious enough to let us use their showers (well stocked and cleaned with beautiful products, fresh shavers) after check out.
Staff were very friendly. Our room late in being ready. They directed us to the pool, offered a free appetizer, and upgraded our room. That was good service.
I would stay here again in a heart beat.

This is a very good hotel. We stayed there two nights and asked for two more nights. Be aware that if the hotel front desk gives you a price there are some additional fees they are not telling you about besides taxes. There is additional resort fee of 12 per night. So if they tell you 215 per night the total is actually 250 per night. Also the fridge does not cool enough. But we didn't take points off because overall it is a very good hotel.
