We took the free tour, which was only slightly informative, but it was fun to hear how the company has grown and what takes place in which area of the building. The online virtual tour showed more than just the windows, though ;) The tour guide was the manager of the Artifactory, so he was passionate and knowledgeable. The Artifactory had tons of merchandise (including glasses for bar owners) and a free photo booth, as well as a growler bar. Many people came to fill up their growlers while we were there-a fantastic and waste-free service (I think each cost $7 or something). We each got 4 samples and they had about 8 beers on tap. I wouldn't say Magic Hat has the best beer (or even the best beer in VT), but it was fun to try their different flavors. They had free pretzels, too ;) The bartenders were friendly, but it was clear they were ready to go home (it was the end of the day). But it was a fun stop and we're glad we went-now I know which to order if I see them on tap somewhere ;)
