4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2011

Stayed for 2 nights at the Doubletree and couldn't believe I stayed in other hotels twice the price and not better than here.Kim gave us a great service.Pool was great. Room was clean .Lots of places around to eat. 10 Minute drive into downtown Burlington.Trader dukes had great service as well. I would go back in a minute. I also had a corner room so heard lots of noise from the door but when I mentioned it to them they even offerd me another room which I refused given I was almost never there. This was a great hotel .

I had a great stay here--the service couldn't have been better, room was very comfortable, restaurant was shockingly decent, and it was a 5 min door to door drive to downtown burlington. highly recommended

I was able to snatch a deal with Priceline and was worth the 65$ I paid for the night. Beds need to be updated and you can hear all the noise coming from the corridor. All in all, if you need a clean place for staying over, DT Burlington is an okay place to stay over.

Overall not a bad business hotel - internet is free in room or in lobby, staff is nice and helpful. But I have to say this is a older property - on the tacky side. The restaurant looked like (and tasted like) a dressed up Denny's. Local food options within walking distance are fast food and forget about anything open past 10PM.
The hotel does provide a shuttle from the airport - this is a positive if you are going to a conference. Parking is free.

We greatly appreciate your time in writing about your experience with us. Our business guests are always pleased to enjoy our complimentary wireless internet throughout the property, including in our conference rooms and restaurant. Furthermore, our spacious suites offer the additional option of a wired internet connection, also provided to our guests on a complimentary basis.
We hope you have the opportunity to visit us again and enjoy some of our specialties in Trader Duke's, our award-winning restaurant. Trader Duke's serves up some hearty and delicous meals, including a Grilled NY Strip Steak, Broiled Salmon with Honey Mustard Glaze, and a wide variety of two-handed sandwiches and fresh Angus burgers, just to name a few items. Furthermore, our on-site restaurant certainly has a loyal breakfast following, as we start the day with favorites such as hearty omelettes, pancakes and french toast with a variety of toppings, and a terrific selection of healthy breakfast items. Daily specials for breakfast, lunch, and dinner are created daily by our dedicated culinary team. We look forward to welcoming you back to our hotel in the near future! Again, we thank you for your comments!

I have stayed here a couple of times. It does the job...no frills, well, with cookies, of course....or should I say, cookie. They used to give you two, but now....*sigh*, just one. The hotel is fine, though it is a little dated. Would I stay there again....maybe? I have not really looked to see what my other options in the area were.

I would not tell anyone to not stay there, just to look at all your options.

Thank you for your comments regarding your stay with us back in December 2009. We are certainly hopeful that you will return to our property when you return to the Burlington area in the future. I must admit that our warm Doubletree Chocolate Chip and Walnut cookies are immensely popular. In fact, they are so loved that we always have additional complimentary cookies on hand for all of our guests, no matter the time of day or night. Just ask and we will be delighted to hand you a warm cookie. We also have tins of our special cookies that our guests may purchase to bring home to their family and friends!
Our hotel is consistently rated among the best Doubletree hotels in the Americas and we are confident that our team will provide you with a comfortable and relaxing visit while in Burlington. Again, we thank you for your comments and certainly look forward to welcoming you again in the future.

Every year we take a trip to see a concert at Higher Ground in Burlington. This hotel always makes it a little more enjoyable. Great clean room, nice staff, comfortable bed.
Only thing could be improved is the shower heads.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2010

We stayed here on honeymoon during October and, having come directly from an amazing bed and breakfast in Manchester, were not expecting to be as blown away by this place as we were. Our room (a one bedroom suite) was beautifully appointed, very clean and gave us more room than we knew what to do with! The shower was the best we experienced on the entire holiday. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had requested a room facing the courtyard, but because they were unable to provide this, they gave us a free dinner in their restaurant instead! Food was of a high quality. Our only criticism was that breakfast service was sometimes slow which is frustrating when you are keen to get on with your day. I was particularly excited as it was within walking distance of a Barnes and Noble – in fact we could see it from our window – which to me was heaven!! It was only a ten minute drive into the city (a town by UK standards) and parking was easy and not overly expensive. The car park at the hotel was free. Burlington itself is located beautifully between the mountains and the lake and we enjoyed both spending time there and a day trip out to the Stowe / Mount Mansfield area. It was always a joy to come back to our gorgeous room!
