“combine fiddlehead beer with folino's pizza next door”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2014

I'd read about various different breweries in and around Burlington, and liked the sound of the set up at Fiddlehead = taste the beers, buy a growler (or 2), drink your beer next door whilst enjoying a pizza at Folino's.

They had 3 beers available to taste; a Kolsch, a Hefeweizen, and a Porter, they were out of their IPA. I really liked both the Kolsch and the Hefeweizen, I didn't like the Porter. We bought a growler of the Hefeweizen - Hef You. $13, which included the $3 for the growler, they also had growlettes at $9? I think?

Tastings were free, smallish glasses though. There was a tips jar for the friendly bartender. Only complaint was that he just poured the beers and gave them to us to try with no explanation or description of each beer.

Small tasting room with most people actually just coming in to refill / buy growlers rather than specifically to taste the beers.

We (3 of us) polished our growler off pretty quickly at Folino's next door, especially as we had a short wait for a table. I ended up nipping back to Fiddlehead for a refill on the growler - $10 for the refill.

I'd definitely purchase from Fiddlehead again if we are ever back in the area.

“This was just fun...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2014

We stumbled across this place on Hwy 7 on our way to another town... ]
It's local craft beer and very good. They offer free samples and sell the beer in 32 oz or 64 oz "growlers", the growler cost $3.00 extra... Worth a 20 minute stop...

“cold beer, hot pizza”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2014

Hot day, cold brew, and hot pizza next door. What could be better? Oh yeah, better is creative, local, fresh, and flavorful.

Def worth a stop.

“Their IPA is the best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Love the IPA. This is a great brewery, Its fun to visit and sample their beers. They fill growlers and they can be brought next door to Folino's Wood Fired Pizza which is great as well. What a combination..

“For lovers of this local beer only.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2014

We thought this would be a place to sample several of this brewing company's beers. There were two free samples in a very small room; most people coming in were probably locals who were buying 6 packs and cases. Not set up for tastings really and not really a tourist destination.
