“Wonderful bookstore and eatery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2012

We stopped off here on our way home back to Canada - and what a great little place to chill out. Sadly, she'd been very busy that day - so in the end - I ate her recommended chicken salad (on greens). It was lip smacking good - and good for this Type 1 diabetic watching her carb intake. Now, if only I'd not resistant my goody too shoes attitude and had a dessert!!! Next time. You won't be disappointed - and you may leave with a few books, etc. that she also sells. It's a place to get yourself lost in - and back to a time when you just took the time to smell the roses! Thanks for the tip about the hop vine Sandy! I'm looking seed places online today here in Canada - great cover for my balcony - as well a rewarding hops at the end (hmm - beer making again?).

“Awesome food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2012

We go to Sandy's a lot and their food is amazing.

It always smells great when you first walk in and it's often so hard to decide what to order as everything looks so good!

A great place to hang out for a lazy breakfast, or to grab something to eat on your way to the ski slopes.

“Funky, warm and delicious homemade bread, salads and more.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2011 via mobile

A really nice place for brunch or lunch and the best homemade bagels north of NY. The scones are delicious and the curried chicken salad is terrific.

“A wonderful Stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2011

It's on Route 100 on the way to northern Vermont. Large selection of gourmet coffees and teas plus some cider and cocco prepared as you wait. Savory selection of homemade breads and bagels. Very eclectic used bookstore to wander thru as well. Seating is a little tight but but the place has character. This is not a commecial place (aka starbucks). High quality place to stop for snack and caffine while passing thru and gassing up.
