“never again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2011

i live in jericho, vt and have tried the bridge street cafe twice now.both times i was more than disappointed. the pizza is soggy and not cooked through. last night i ordered the chicken and biscuits special. it came out ice cold, and with one "morsel" of chicken. when i asked the waitress what was going on, she told me it was the last order they had. we also ordered the nachos grande and received no salsa, sour cream, or guacomole. the ground beef was not seasoned at all, and the dish had absolutley no flavor. i ordered a beer 3 times before it was finally brought to the table. Never again will i be visiting the bridge street cafe in richmond!!!!!!

Bridge St Cafe is the best little place in town.... the staff makes you feel like you are at home and always welcome. The food is always great especially their burgers and pizzas. i love this place because they are kid friendly and inexpensive it is a great family environment!!!

“Avoid!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2010

OK, the service was BARE minimum. No one informed us we had to get our own drinks. We figured it out. The "turkey panini" sounded great on paper-- "Turkey, cheddar, cranberry mayo, let. & tomato." I'm not sure how they managed it, but they made a sandwich that had all those ingredients but NO flavor. It was on barely grilled soft pita bread. The strangest "panini" I have ever seen.

“The service was great...the food was not.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2010

This place is a rundown restaurant that the owners obviously do not spend money on upkeep on. The food was very disappointing (it matched the downtrodden atmosphere).

The one shining part of the experience was our very friendly and competent waitress.

My advice on this one? Skip it.

“Not what you expect in a very small town.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2008

While staying at a B&B in Richmond, my wife and I decided to get a light meal for the evening at the Bridgetown Grill. We expected a place where locals eat because it is a good value. It wasn't. The beer was very expensive, as was the food. Maybe they have a separate menu with lower prices for locals. The food was decent. The beer wasn't cold enough and had a huge head. If you're in Richmond, go to the pizza place or even the more expensive restaurant across the street from the Bridgetown. It must to be a better value that this place.
