“SUPERIOR IN EVERY WAY”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2012

Three of us stayed at Comstock for what I hope will be the first of many visits! We each had separate rooms and each was charming, well-kept, nicely appointed and immaculate. I can't imagine awaking to a better view. We've never stayed in a B & B where we were more warmly welcomed and cared for. Warren and Ross are superlative hosts.

Room Tip: No matter which room you choose, you'll not be disappointed...each has its own charm!

Returning soon for a second visit. The first will be hard to beat- perfect in every way, mostly due to the freindly, knowlegable, and considerate hosts.

Room Tip: The rooms are consistently pleasant and quiet

We stayed at the Comstock House while visiting Vermont. This was the perfect place to stay! The views were breathtaking! Warren and Ross are very accommodating hosts. If you are experiencing Vermont for the first time speak up! They have great ideas on where to go based on your interests. Warren and Ross also have great suggestions for dinning out. To wake up to the beauty, the quite countryside, and the smell of a delicious breakfast is the best! We will definitely stay again. Sarah D

Room Tip: All sides of the inn have great views. The beds were comfortable. I would take any of the rooms.

Once again, the Comstock House provided us with beautiful views, kind & generous hosts, delicious food, and an overwhelming sense of Peace -- inside & out. We hope and plan to return again in the future (even though we'll be moving nearby)! Thank you Ross & Warren.

Room Tip: All of the rooms in this location are fabulous.

The Comstock House is a gorgeous bed & breakfast in a beautiful spot. The views from the property were fantastic. Ross and Warren were wonderful hosts! Warm and welcoming, as was the house. I went to Plainfield on an artist retreat and enjoyed painting on site as well as in the surrounding area. I hope to return very soon and have recommended it to several friends!

We booked a room at the Comstock House when we were visiting family nearby and it was an excellent decision. The house itself is a feast for the eyes and the views from the property are gorgeous. We felt very welcome, but also felt like we had the privacy we wanted. We slept great on the bed and enjoyed a steaming bath in the big clawfoot tub. We felt totally pampered, and the breakfast was also delicious. We will definitely be coming back. The only possible downside is that not all the roads on the way there are paved, so you need to have a vehicle capable of handling mud or snow if necessary.

Couldn't ask for a warmer welcome or more gracious hosts. Great breakfasts in the bright dining room, comfortable and spacious rooms, views that make you want to stay for days. We'll be staying with Ross and Warren regularly from now on when we come to Plainfield to visit our son's family.

Room Tip: Any room is great!
