“Store is filled with every possible ingredient you could desire”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

My husband and I stopped in here to pick up some bread flour and yeast for our typical bread making sessions. We were overwhelmed with the new design of the store and walked around for a good 20 minutes before we came to our senses and walked out. Not without buying some cinnamon chips and everything bagel topping, too! The kitchenware items are a bit on the pricey side, but the baking ingredients seem to be at a good price (flour, yeast, etc.) The simple syrup was a bit overpriced if you ask me - $15 for a bottle of something I can make with sugar and water at home seems outlandish. Never-the-less, I love KAF and will be back again when I visit my hometown of Norwich.

“Shopping and tasty food - what more can one ask for?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

All around great place to visit with family, friends, or even solo. Coffee was excellent and veggie sandwich great too. Too home a loaf of sourdough....it was OK. Will try another type of bread next time.

Not to be missed. Store, bakery, cafe, school...a true destination. All is great and all the edibles are the best.

“Newly Expanded, Greater Selection”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2012

This was my first time here since this place expanded a few months ago. There is now an informal dining area both inside and outside and a greater selection of sandwiches. This came in handy as we had just driven two hours and could not find any place in Norwich to eat. They also now have classrooms where you can take baking classes. I also love coming here for the tasty cookies they serve plus selctions of King Arthur Flour that is usually not sold in my local grocery store such as pumpernickel flour.

Have loved this place for years. Went today to the new/expanded store/cafe/baking education center...even more wonderful than it was before.
