I have stayed with Peter and Deborah something like 12 times over the last 3 years... Deborah treats me like family and Peter is always glad to see me. I have brought other family members with me just so they could meet them. Being typically male I don't notice the many of the things my lady and my daughters do... all I know is Deb and Peter always make me comfortable, that breakfasts there are always fabulous and that I park my weary bones there as often as business brings me into the neighborhood.

My husband and I just spent 3 Nights at The Sampler House in Milton VT. It was a great experience from the very beginning. The proprietors are the most pleasant and friendly couple, This is certainly the business for them. Every morning started off with a fabulous and very tasty breakfast.
The accomodations were very comfortable and cozy. The decor was exactly what it should be for a B&B in Vermont. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms offer every amenity you would want.
We were made to feel welcome and at home the minute we arrived, and any special requests were happily granted. We recommend the B&B to any couple or family looking to have easy access to all Vermont has to offer. My husband and I will stay again on our next trip to Vermont. Our stay at Sampler House was superb. The hosts, Deborah and Peter were friendly and made you feel at home. The breakfasts were cooked every day and were excellent. The location is quite close to Burlington, which is only an easy drive away.

My husband and I decided to have a celebration of firsts- our first year anniversary, our first time in Vermont, and our first Bed and Breakfast. We had an amazing time at the Sampler House, with Deborah and Peter as attentive and hospitable hosts. We felt right at home in this charming 3 story house, with close proximity to some of the major sites in Vermont while staying in a small and quiet town. Deborah is also an excellent cook and had me looking forward to the next home-cooked, personalized breakfast the next morning. In addition to the many positive things about our stay, the Sampler House offered an affordable rate compared to other nearby establishments, especially during the peak of foliage season! This is a great place to stay whether you're a seasoned B&B guest or if you're first-timers like us.
