“Lovely location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

The Storm Cafe is right by the river in Middlebury. It was too cold to sit outside, but the dining room is cozy and the food was good.

“Ditto”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2012

My goodness, everyone else has just about said it all....great location and service, with outstanding food quality. The only 'improvement' I can suggest is to upgrade the beer selections on tap. We may have just ordered the wrong local craft beers, but they were not in the same class as others I tasted while in Vermont. Obviously just my opinion, and it did not dampen our enthusiasm for this little hidden gem. I had the BLT and potato and garlic soup, and my wife had the homemade hummus salad (half portion) and the artichoke sandwich. Too much for both of us to eat, even when sharing!!!! The hummus was the best I have had. Dining outside by the creek was a treat, as we had pinpointed Storm Cafe as our first taste of Vermont even before we left home. What a great decision......

“Great Food by Otter Creek”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2012

It is so enjoyable to have lunch outside by Otter Creek when the weather is good. Beautiful spot, friendly staff and great food. One of my favorites.

“Quaint lunch place by the water”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2012

Located by the Frog Hollow artist lane, this little luncheon place is a nice little place off of the beaten path of Main Street in Middlebury. The food is fresh and light. Wraps and salads are always on the menu.

“Delicious Food at a Reasonable Price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

Stopped for lunch on our way through Middlebury. Had the artichoke sandwich, which made you say "wow" from the first bite. Service, especially the host, was excellent (waitress was a little abrupt, but still managed to be pleasant). Food was well prepared, good ingredients and tasty, and the price very reasonable. Also tried local beer on tap, which was also reasonably priced. Sat on the deck, overlooking the river, on a warm summer afternoon - what could be better.
