Tuesday Vegetarian Farm Night..........is definitely NOT gourmet fare or a relaxing experience.
Our group was seated 45 minutes after our reservation. The table was not prepared; the owner was scurrying around to place water glasses and utensils on the table as we were seated. Drinks were not readily available, even after multiple requests. When we were told to queue up to serve ourselves, there were no plates. A member of our party finally assigned herself as our waitress to refill water and to fetch extra silverware and dessert.
The food! It may have been grown on a luscious organic farm nearby, but it was prepared for the masses! Aside from the fresh tomato salad and coarse cut-slaw, we helped ourselves from huge steam trays of casserole-like mixtures. Frankly, it all tasted the same, no matter what ingredients poked their heads out of the saucy pans! The highlights: vanilla ice cream with a few fresh blackberries for dessert and gentle riffs of guitar music.
Since there was no designated wait staff, unless you had ready cash in hand to pay the bartender, we had to scramble around the tables to find the operator of the hand held credit card machine to pay the bill.
Very strange and chaotic evening for what is described in reviews as a fine estabishment. In all honesty, we were told "it would be a zoo" when we made our reservation for 12. Unfortunately, it proved to be a prophetic description!
