Okemo in Vermont is fantastic for groups with varying levels of ski experience. We were a group of twelve ages 4 to 69! The beginners had a free bunny slope with a conveyor belt to take them to the top and it was wide enough to be a great place for the newbies to learn and the rusty ones to practice. The rest of the mountain had lots of trails and connecting chairlifts to spend a long time skiing - perfect for beginner/intermediate levels. There were slopes for advance skiers as well. The hospitality was also great. Food was pricey. Killington nearby does not have free access to the bunny slopes. More resorts should have this option - the rest of the skiers had lift tickets but it is totally unnecessary for those who are only learning. We usually travel in large groups and a resort that offers free bunny slopes for the 3 or 4 beginners in our group is always a deciding factor in which places we have chosen to visit.
