My husband and I stayed for two nights with another couple in late September. The owners were very helpful with advice about hiking trails and their willingness to lend us their bikes. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast delicious (many choices!). The place is a little rundown, but the availability of a hot tub, sauna, and an exercise room more than make up for that. We also liked the small sitting rooms that are available in two places. We would definitely stay there again.

Jennifer & Michael Duffy keep adding amenities to this already amenity-packed facility. Their attitude towards service made us feel more like guests in their home than customers. Breakfast offerings were bountiful and delicious, and they run a gourmet dining room in the evening.

Need a Fall getaway? This is the place! From the time you are greeted by Sassy the dog and step foot in the front door you are treated like royalty. Food is awesome and atmosphere warm and inviting. Definitely should be at the top of the B&B list!

We were in and out in one day which was unfortunate because we would have liked to stay longer. My husband and I found the Vermont Inn to be a calming retreat after a redeye flight and a three hour drive from Boston.

The Inn is located up on a slight hill off the road with a large yard in front so it is quiet and airy in the rooms even if you are facing the front.

Most rooms looked like they had their own bathrooms and are decorated nicely with a clean and tasteful country house theme. Everything was super clean. The non vacated rooms were open so that you could peek in and check them out. A fun activity. There are no phones or TVs in the rooms but there are several TV nooks located strategically throughout the inn. There is also a sauna on the 2nd floor.

We found the customer service to be excellent. When we arrived, Jennifer gave us a tour. They also gave us an upgrade to a larger room for the same price since they had one available. This was a nice touch. The rates were also very reasonable compared to the other bed and breakfasts in the nearby area.

Sadly, we had to leave before the breakfast because we had to be somewhere early.

I was worried when I was looking for a hotel to book because most of the hotels in the area looked pretty run down. The Vermont Inn was well maintained, super clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We felt like we scored. The next time we go to Vermont we will return.

My wife and I stayed at the Vermont Inn for our 5th wedding anniversary. Everything was wonderful! The service...the food. Incredible. Would highly recommend. Our only regret was had to go home so soon. We'll gladly go back :)
