“What a find! Will be back for sure!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2014

We were planning to come to Vermont on Tuesday, but a snowstorm was predicted so I had to quick in a hurry find a place that could accommodate our family last minute, for one night, during a holiday week. Immediately, they were so nice an helpful on the phone and got us a room that would fit all of us and did not price gauge. I had a really good feeling when I got off the phone.

We pulled up right before 9 p.m. and the place was in a fantastic location, right across the street from my favorite coffee cafe (BONUS). If it was not 0 degrees we could have walked to everything.

The Inn is immaculate and tastefully and warmly decorated. The room was a decent size for an Inn with nice bath amenities and was super clean. Next time i will book early and take advantage of a suite, which I prefer, but this time we were thankful to have room in such a nice place. The carpet was soft and plush and the bed very comfortable and the temperature in the room perfect.

We woke up before skiing and check out and Steph was so friendly and helpful. We also met Tori later. We enjoyed talking to them and the other guests. They are so warm and inviting and make you feel so welcome and comfortable. Had an ample breakfast with many choices and great company.

In all, this is a wonderful best kept secret a little off the main road so you feel like you have "gotten away from it all" but with a great location to shops and restaurants and less than 5 minutes away from the best skiing in the East. This place is a gem and so glad we found it and will definitely return.

Room Tip: We had a room very close to the lobby. We left early, so it was not noisy or anything. I would lov...

It was a great conversation at breakfast! Please stay longer next time so you and the family can hang in front of our Fireplace and truly relax in this beautiful setting!

Fantastic location to mountain and restaurants, some walking distance. Wonderful innkeepers, hot tub and breakfast. Room was just okay (we had 2 queen beds, no fireplace). Insulation is very poor and our neighbors nightly "noises" woke me up two nights in a row. Thankfully, our 15 year old slept through it. Overall, would recommend.

It was nice having you and your family with us. I'm glad that you had a good time here and apologize that sometimes our "home" can feel like home and you can hear things that you would rather not. For the most part we have quiet groups and things feel very homey and relaxing.

our first visit to the Inn. Everything worked out better than our expectations. The staff could not have been better. Breakfast was top of the line each morning. Of coarse homemade cookies each afternoon after a great hot tub.

Just returned from another delightful stay with our favorite innkeepers, Manfred and Jeanne, along with their new associates, Vickie and Stephanie. How can you beat their comfortable and immaculate rooms, warm cookies and hot chocolate, and a cozy fire after a long day of skiing? And waking up to a homemade waffle, fresh fruit and Maine blueberries really gets the day started right! After 40 years of skiing the Killington area, we have truly found our home away from home...and already looking forward to next year!!

This was our family's first trip to the Snowed Inn and we will most certainly be back next year. We stayed in the two bedroom, two bath suite and were very comfortable, felt like I was staying at a friend's home. The Innkeepers were very accommodating but never intrusive. We enjoyed the many choices on the breakfast buffet, especially, the waffles and fruit. Plenty of food for fueling the day's activities.I really liked the Inn's proximity to the mountain and restaurants. We have stayed many places in the area and would highly recommend this warm and friendly Inn.

We stayed here last year for 3 nighst and returned last week for another 3-nights. We're glad we did as everything was as perfect as we remember:
close to the mountain,
warm rooms,
great mattresses,
*high*-flow showers, and
plentiful breakfasts,

This year we took them up on their offer of reduced $$rental/ski packages. We saved $10 per person compared to what we would have paid had we booked with Killington directly.

And best of all, we did not wait until the last night this year to hit the Snowed Inn's hot tub right after skiing. We were in it every afternoon, and then headed out to one of the many great restaurants nearby.

See you next year!

We have visited Killington at least once a year for several years. This is our first time at Snowed Inn. We really enjoyed our stay. This will be our place to stay in the future. We go to Vermont to feel Vermont-the Inn gives you that feeling. From the woodwork, the fire and the down home friendliness of the staff. We only had one night- but this will be our choice next time we return to the mountain.
