“Ski Instructor Pub with great food, drink, and conversation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

This place is wonderful locals hang out. Want a ski tip, you should go here...Killington instructor always around and willing to give a tip and maybe even a powder stash location if you buy a round. This is a wonderful place and the popcorn is great with the beer. The food here is good and priced well. As for a locals card at the beginning of the season, comes in handy with other places on the Killington Rd. too. Look for Big Jim sitting at the bar and be sure to buy him a PBR. He is a Killington Mtn. legend and is sure to know a stash or two.

“Decent happy hour”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013 via mobile

Dropped into Charity's for a quick visit since we had to wait an hour for the next bus. Goog half priced apps but no discounts on drinks.our server was very pleasant and her services was excellent. When I asked her which Bourbons they had she appeared stumped and named several non-Bourbons. Then she surprised me with,"0h, we also have Knob Creek and Makers Mark" so, our visit was saved.

This venue doesn't have a free shuttle back to the mountain but we saw the Wobbly Barn shuttle as we were leaving and he gave us ride back to our condo. best tip I ever gave.

“Burger and Clam Chowder”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

We went to Charity's Tavern on a Friday late afternoon. We were seated quickly by a very friendly waitress. She was helpful in recommending things to see and talked freely about the area.

We ordered a burger and clam chowder. Both were very good. I loved the Clam Chowder. The soup was thick, hot and filling with many of clams. This was a perfect place for an early dinner/ late lunch.

“give this a miss”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

We tried this restaurant one night and was not pleased we had the rotisserie chicken which is one of there signature dishes it was dry under cooked and had very little flavor.
The food in this place was very expensive for what you got not worth the money.
